Thanksgiving
This year we went to Blanding for Thanksgiving and had it with my family. We ate at Stormy's house with her family Misy and Ky and their kids and my parents. We ate and played games it was fun. Clayt and I ended up staying there until about 9:30 that night just talking with Stormy Quinn and the kids. Friday Clayt's mom and sisters went shopping for Black Friday so I just hung out at my mom's house and my Uncle Mike and his family came down and visited with us. Saturday I just kind of ran around everywhere because I didn't have much to do. That night we had dinner at Karen's house and played Catch Phrase it was a lot of fun even though I didn't feel very good. After we got done playing they decided to watch a movie but I just went back to Marcia's house and went to bed. For once we got out of Blanding at a decent time Sunday and we stopped in Moab and ate lunch with my cousin Kayla and her husband and baby. Her little boy is a month older then Ryder and he is so cute. It was a fun weekend thanks everyone.

Random Pictures
Here are a bunch of pictures of Ryder from the last week. Ryder is finally starting to roll. He will roll from his tummy to his back and it's so cute. We had a little accident with the rolling the other day though. I was at work and I always lay him on this big cushion the lady has and it's a little ways off the ground so anyways I went to go throw his diaper away and I was walking back to him and I look over and he's falling he looked like he was trying to catch him self his arms flying helplessly it was so sad. Well he landed on his head on the hard wood floor I felt so bad I ran and over and cuddled him we were both in tears the saddest thing ever I felt so bad. So that's the day I learned Ryder could roll over lol he got a little bump and bruise on his head is all and he was happy within a few minutes and just kept looking up at me and smiling it was so cute.

Sunday Drive
Last Sunday we decided to go for a drive on the mountain behind our house. We headed out around 3 yeah a little late but oh well. We didn't really know where we were going so we were kind of just driving and going on a lot of different roads we were on one road that ended up turning into a fourwheeling road and I told Clayt I don't think this road is made for our big truck but he kept going lol. After we turned around and was heading back we stopped and was looking in the binoculars and we saw dome deer and a few bucks. Clayton saw a fox through them and tried to shoot it but it was too far away so he missed lol We stopped to I could change Ryder and the poor kid leaked all over his clothes and I didn't have any clean dry clothes in the diaper bag so we just took his pants off and after I fed him he pooped and it got all over the rest of his clothes and his blanket. lol I felt so bad I just had to wrap him up in the blanket. Why we were on the dirt road I held him in my lap and he loved it he just looked around the whole time with big eyes it was so cute. It was a fun time I love just going out and spending time with my hubby and little boy. I'm glad we have a mountain right by us that we can go to all the time.

Also on Sunday we had a bishop interview our second one since we have been in this ward. He was supposed to get with our old bishop before this last interview and he hadn't yet. ugh so I was asking him when he thought we could go through the Temple and he said prob not till next year since he hasn't spoke to our old bishop he's asked if I wanted to do it on our Anniversary are you serious? That's a whole year away we have already been working on this for a year so yeah I wasn't very happy. So I guess we will prob not be going through until the beg. of next year hopefully January sometime.

Premature Babies
I never realized how many premature babies were born everyday until Ryder was born. I have met a few people the last few days who have had premature babies. I bought a swing from a lady the other day who had twins 7 weeks early a boy and a girl. The little boy was not moving/breathing when he came out they were both immediately taken from her and put in the ICU. They are a little over 1 years old now and the little boy still has major problems. Then yesterday a guy came to my house to put in my water softener and he was talking to me and his little girl was born at 23 weeks. She was flown to the Uof U Hospital and she had to stay at the ICU there for 5 and a half months. She will be 2 the day after Thanksgiving and she still has to be fed my an NG tube and has to have braces for her feet. He said she is a happy girl and loves to walk around but she will have major problems her whole life.
My little Ryder was born 9 weeks early and was only on oxygen for a few weeks and he got the NG tube taken out a few weeks before he got to come home. I am so thankful that I was blessed with such a strong baby and that he was able to fight through all those trials and is able to be home with us this day a happy healthy strong baby boy. If it wasn't for all the new technologies they have these days I don't think Ryder would of made it I am so grateful for that thanks to the March of Dimes we wouldn't have it. I am so thankful for the support we had from family and friends I don't think we could of done it alone. Thank you everyone who kept little Ryder in their prayers everyday I know that the power of prayer and the strong testimony we have in the church played a big role in how well Ryder is doing today. As of now Ryder has no problems just that he is a little small but I know he will grow out of that and will be a big strong healthy boy in the months to come. We love you Ryder your an amazing little boy and couldn't ask for a better one.
The rate of premature birth between 1981 and 2003 increased nearly 30% (9.4% to 12.3%). Currently, prematurity affects 1 in 8 babies with approximately 1,367 premature births a day and nearly 500,000 premature births a year in the United States.
According to the March of Dimes (2006), premature birth is the number one obstetric problem in the nation. Of all preterm births, most are a result of spontaneous preterm labor, about 25% are a result from early induction of labor or cesarean delivery due to pregnancy complications or health problems, and in nearly 40% of all cases the doctor is unable to determine a cause (March of Dimes, 2007).

Big Boy
Last night I decided to put Ryder in his bumbo chair and see how well he liked it. Well he loved it. He is still a little wobbly with his head but he did so good. It would fall a few times and then he could usually lift it right back up sometimes he had to have a little help. But would just talk to him and he would jabber back and smile so big it was so dang cute then Clayt came over and is like hey buddy and he grinned the biggest grin I have ever seen from him it was so funny and cute. He sat in that chair for about 10-15 min just talking and smiling at us I loved it. Here are some cute pics of him in the chair.

Blanding/Halloween
This year we got to go to Blanding for Halloween. Clayton actually had a hunt we went for but he didn't get anything lol.. So anyways we went down on Thursday and came back home Sunday. We had a lot of fun and Ryder was so dang spoiled lol.. I think him being held all the time kind of wore him out because he was so tired the whole time we were there and he wouldn't eat his usual. But it was still fun for everyone to see him. Maddax loved him funny story. Clayton just pulled up to Karens house Maddax runs out their conversation...
Maddax: Clayt did you get a Elk?
Clayt: Yeah (he really didn't)
Maddax: Well where is it?
Clayt gets Ryder out of the truck
Maddax: Sweet even better you got Ryder
lol I thought that was so cute he loved Ryder. Friday night all of us girls went to Karen's house and made some tiles with quotes on them it was fun but time consuming lol Saturday I went to the football game with Misty, Kylor and Davey and Clayt was there for a little bit. The Broncos won and it was a pretty close game. That night was Halloween lol and my mom always does a dinner for everyone so we had pizza then went Trick or Treating. Ryder was a little Monkey and he looked so cute even though the costume was a little big. He hung out at my moms why I took Trez and Jeter around to a few houses. After all the kids were done we just hung out at my moms house and talked and watched game 2 of the World Series. We came home Sunday and we didn't end up leaving until 5pm because we had so many stops to make before we left. Thanks for the fun weekend everyone.
