Range NB pictures

Happenings

It's been awhile since I posted so here is a little update on us.

Everyone is finally starting to slowly get better here since at least one of us has been sick for the last 5 weeks. We're all ready for summer so we can be well and be outside.

Range will be 6 weeks tomorrow I can't believe how fast time is going by. He's growing like a weed. He's 8lbs 1 oz and 20 inches long. Last week we decided to take a trip to Blanding to get out of the nasty air up here in the city so we caught a ride down Monday and rode back up with my parents. While we were there Range started running a fever but no other symptoms so for a few days I kept in touch with my sister and brother in law (nurse and doctor :) finally they had me come in and get him checked. He wasn't coughing or anything just kept running a fever. My brother in law decided to test him for the flu and it came back positive :/ poor baby. There isn't anything you can do for babies that small so he gave him an antibiotic for 3 days to help fight off any other infection that tried to come on while he was fighting the flu. He checked him again before we headed back home and he said he looked good and should be ok. Since we've been home he seems to be doing fine. Just his grumpy normal self that thinks he needs to cry when he's not being held.

Ryder is finally starting to get better too after a few days of fevers.  He has the annoying lingering cough and runny nose. He weighs 30lbs and has been stick there for awhile. He's still a busy boy and is all over the place. He is obsessed with trains and thinks he needs to have them ALL out in my living room and needs to play them every night with dad. He LOVES his little brother and tells us 10+ times a day that he loves Range lol it's cute. He thinks he needs to hug and kiss his forehead all the time too.

Clayton and I are doing well and are excited for new adventures to come. (Post to come soon) 

2 weeks

Range turned 2 weeks last Tuesday he's growing so fast. He had his 2 week checkup that Thursday. He's doing great. He still eats every 3-4 hours. Sometimes we can get him to go 5 hours at night. He's spoiled rotten and will only go to sleep if you hold him and he has to be asleep in your arms for about 15 minutes or so before you can put him down without him waking back up. Brat lol Ryder still tells us everyday that he loves Range. He's a good big brother.

 

Range weighed 6lbs 1oz a whole pound bigger then birth weight and 7 ounces bigger then what he weighed at his 1 week they were impressed lol he's 19 inches long so he grew 2 inches. He's going to be chunky sooner then later. We love you Range.

BBQ

I got so behind on my blogging the last few months I'm playing catch up as I find pictures and everything is out of order and a mess. I want to remember some of these little things so I guess it's better late then never :)


At the beginning of December I believe it was the weather hadn't turned completely crappy yet and I wanted steaks out on the grill so I decided I was going to bbq for dinner lol. Ryder has a little grill and he was so excited I was using ours so he went and got his cooker (that's what he calls it :) and brought it outside to cook his dinner. After I was done he brought his cooker inside. He wanted chicken nuggets for dinner so I cooked them and before he would eat them he had to "cook" them in his cooker. haha he's so funny.

Snow Day

The week before I had Range we got a lot of snow and we finally went out and played in it. This was Ryder's first time playing in the snow. He has always hated it but was so excited when we got a lot this year and kept asking to go play in it so we took him out. He was in heaven he didn't want to come in we ran around and played for over an hour. Him and dad built a little snowman and then he had dad kick it over. He had a blast.

1 week

Range turned 1 week on Christmas. Seriously time is already going by fast. He doesn't eat much and still has a hard time nursing. He usually wakes up to eat every 3-4 hours. He had a checkup last Wednesday and he weighed 5lbs 3oz he's gaining a little bit. Ryder is adjusting pretty good he always tells us that he loves Range or his little brother. He's so cute with him. We all love this little guy but Ryder and dad just want him to be bigger lol. I just want more sleep haha it will all come soon enough though. He can stay little for awhile I don't mind. I'll take the sleepless nights anytime :) We love you Range.

Aunt Stormy came up and stayed a few days with us.

Grandma and Papa Munson stayed a week with us. They were up here for 2 weeks. We enjoyed having them and all their help. Thanks mom and My! We love you guys.

Christmas

Christmas was  a lot of fun this year. We had our new baby home with us and Ryder was so fun he loved it. When we first came out into the living room he wasn't sure what to do he just sat on Clayts lap and starred and asked questions. We told him to go to his stocking to see what Santa brought him and he finally did. He opened Range's presents and his own. He was in heaven. He had asked Santa for a garbage truck so we had him get that one last he was so excited. He LOVED it. His only complaint was that it wasn't dirty haha because he asked for a dirty stinky garbage truck lol. But over all he was pretty pleased. Sure do love this kid. He asks everyday if Christmas is over and if Santa will bring him more toys lol crazy kid.
After we opened presents and took a rest we headed over to Crystals house for brunch. My parents were up here so they made frenchtoast,bacon,eggs and sausage. We always have a breakfast in Blanding but since they were up here they did a brunch. Thomas was sick so Kara and here family weren't able to make it. My Granny came up with my parents so her and my Aunt Kathleen came and ate with us. It was fun to see her.

 Marcia came up after Range was born so we opened the name gifts from everyone in Blanding. Thanks guys :) Ryder's ball from Porter.. The theme this year was sports.

 We weren't really planning on Range being born so we just gave him toys we already had.

Our Christmas was great and we can't wait for many more to spend with our little boys. They sure do bring joy to our lives. We love you Ryder and Range. Hope everyone had a Merry Christmas.
