2 month check up

Ryder had his 2 month check up today and he is doing awesome. He is now 8lbs 8oz almost 1lbs bigger then his apt 2 weeks ago and he is 20 inches long. He is above 50% in everything so he is growing so good. He had to get the yucky 2 month shots too and he hated them poor little guy I felt so bad. Well he is growing like he should be and is getting so big to us. Everyone tells me he looks just like daddy so I guess he must be pretty dang cute ;) We are so thankful for our little miracle and what a strong healthy boy he is. We love you Ryder man.

The week Ryder came home Marcia came up and stayed with us for a week and helped with Ryder and with the condo. We really appreciated her help it meant a lot to us. We couldn't of gotten the condo painted and ready for carpet without her. Ryder loved having grandma here to spoil him too he loves when grandmas are here cause they hold him all the time lol.. Thanks so much for all your help Marcia.

The week after Marcia left my mom came up and spent another week with us. Milan had came up and laid carpet for us in the middle of the week and then helped us move in. Thanks Miley for all your help and for coming up and laying our carpet. So my mom came up a few days later and helped us out with Ryder and with getting the condo all unpacked. It took us a few days but we got it all done finally. My mom would take Ryder for me every morning for his 6:00am feeding it was so nice. Thanks mom. I really enjoyed both grandmas being here to help us out and grandpa we love you guys and thanks a ton.

Wow I can't believe Ryder is 2 months old already it has gone by so fast. Little Ryder has been home with us for 4 weeks now and we love it we are so happy to have him home with us. He is doing awesome and is so healthy. Some things Ryder is doing at 2 months..

Alright so I'm not the best at updating my blog anymore but it has been crazy busy around our house. Milan came up last week to put in new carpet for us and then he helped us move in. We weren't planning on moving in till the end of the month but he was here and willing to help so we packed and moved everything in 1 day it was crazy. I finally just barely got everything put away and cleaned up today thanks to the my mom who came up last Friday to help me and is here until Saturday. So we are all moved in and settled it's so nice to have our own place and call it home I love it. It may not be a house house but it's a great starter.

Ryder is growing like crazy last week at his Dr apt he weighed 7lbs 9oz he's getting so big. I know that isn't very big to most people but it's big to us lol.. He is getting chubby he has cute chubby cheeks and getting a double chin.

Last day at the hospital

Monday Sept 7 little Ryder finally got to come home. We weren't expecting him to come home until Tuesday so we had a lot planned for Monday and then they called and asked if we were ready to take our baby home so we said yes and went and picked him up. Ryder was 6lbs 13 oz when he left the hospital and his blood count was still low at 21 but he was breathing great. When he came home we just loved on him and was so happy to have our baby home with us. It was a long 6 weeks.

Tuesday we signed for our condo. We are officially home owners yay :) it was a crazy day so many papers to sign and just bringing little Ryder home but we enjoyed it. Clayton's mom came up Sunday to help out with Ryder so she watched him why we went and signed papers. We are so glad that the condo finally went through and it is now ours.

Wednesday Ryder had his first checkup with his pediatrician Dr. David Johnson. We really liked him he was really nice and good to us and Ryder. Ryder weighed 7lbs 2oz at the apt. He's growing so fast. He is huge to us but soo tiny to everyone else who sees him. He gets circumcised next Thursday poor boy lol Clayt said that thing needs to get fixed soon haha

So this last week has been a crazy week sorry for such a late update. Having Ryder home and painting the condo and getting it ready for new carpet takes a lot of time. We have been so busy but have enjoyed every minute of it. I love my amazing little family they are so awesome I couldn't ask for anyone better.

I would like to thank Marcia for all her wonderful help she gave to us. Helping with painting and watching Ryder when we needed her to and for helping around my house now. Also thanks to Crystal for watching Ryder while we all 3 painted it helped us out a ton. Thank you guys we appreciate it so much we love you.

Ok so I am only going to be updating my blog once a week now prob not as often when he comes home. So here is what has been going on with little Ryder this week....

Let's just say he's doing awesome lol. He has been gaining weight still like crazy he is now 6lbs 13oz and a little over 18 1/2 inches long now. He got taken off the head box a few days ago yippee and has no oxygen either yay good job bud. He is on day 4 of his 7 day countdown still crossing our fingers he can make it but I think he will he has been doing so good. If he makes his countdown he will most likely get to come home on Tuesday so excited I sooo hope he gets to. He is eating a ton he always thinks he's hungry even right after he eats he's a silly boy. He is now waking up about every 4-5 hours to eat instead of the 3 hours. And he lets you know when he is hungry it's cute I love it lol I guess the good thing about him being in the NICU is they get to put him in a good routine for me before he gets to come home lol

Ok so we are so excited for Ryder to come home next week but really I don't think we are ready lol.. We are still trying to close on our condo holy crap so annoying and takes forever. Anyways we wanted to be in there and settled before Ryder came home but doesn't look like it's going to happen. Oh well we are excited to have no more hospital visits twice a day or more. I'm pretty sure we don't have everything we need for him either lol man I'm horrible but I was planning on 2 more months of getting all this stuff together. I know he's been in the hospital for 6 weeks and I could do it then but really trying to find time between hospital visits and sleep it really is hard. Hopefully we can get the rest of the things we need to get before he comes home in a few days.

Last night Ryder weighed a little under 6 lbs 6 oz. He is getting so big and looks so big. I know that's not very big considering 2 of Clayton's friends just had babies and are that size and one a pound bigger and they are new born and Ryder is a month old lol but to us it's big. Yesterday he looked so big to me and it's crazy how fast he is growing I can't believe he is already a month old.

So the sad/bad news. Ryder had a spell yesterday dang it so now he has to start over on his 7 day count down. So instead of today normally being day 3 it is now day 0. Awe man we were so excited I knew I shouldn't of gotten my hopes up but he has been doing so good I thought he was going to make it. Oh well I guess he's just meant to still be there. Keep trying bud your doing awesome.
