Update

He's so funny when he sleeps on Clayt. Clayt will have him laying straight up
and then he will move himself to this position every time it's so cute.

We got him this outfit when we went to Park City and just barely put
it on him yesterday and it barely fits him now lol my preemie isn't so
much a preemie anymore. :)

My little wiggle warm

Wow Ryder just keeps on growing I can't believe how big he is getting and how fast he is growing. Yesterday I breast fed him at his 2:00 and 8:00 feeding and he got his full feedings from it so he didn't need any through his NG Tube good job bud that's awesome. When we weighed him last night he weighed 5 lbs 8 oz holy cow where is my baby going is getting so big so fast I can't wait to bring him home and watch him grow more by me lol Oh and yesterday he was also out from under the head box and he's doing good without it his nose isn't as stuffy anymore. His right nostril has some blockage and so they are just going to watch it and wait till he gets older to see if he needs to get surgery on it lets hope it goes away :)

Today I went in earlier than I usually do and they were wanting to try and bottle feed him so I let them do that instead of me breast feeding him. He did so good with it the guy that comes in and works with the babies when they first start bottle feeding was so amazed with how good he did. He struggled with his breathing at the first of the feeding and then towards the middle and end he got the suck suck breath technique down and was doing awesome. They also upped his feedings today to 47ccs and he ate all of that from the bottle today that's so good. Good job bud keep up the good work. Grandma and Grandpa Munson are coming up today to see Ryder and they can't wait they haven't seen him since the first week he was born and he has changed so much since then he's going to look huge compared to the last time they saw him.

Aunt Tammy and Uncle Mike came and saw Ryder Monday afternoon
and so did Aunt Tammy's sister Ruth.

Ryder is doing so good maybe he will get to come home soon :) ok that's just what we want lol Last night he weighed 5 lbs 6 oz so crazy he's gaining weight like crazy. Also he got 2 full feeding from me yesterday he did one in the afternoon and one at night. So I think if he does 2 more full feedings from me he'll be able to get a bottle for 2 feedings when I'm not there to feed him. That's a good thing cause then that's one step closer to coming home. He is on no oxygen when we hold him or when I feed him now either they give us the blow by just in case he dips down low but he has been doing soo good the last 2 days without it. We have only had to put the blow by by his nose a few times usually when he dips he brings himself right back up. So we are thinking this head box thing he is under really is helping him. Sometimes he still sounds a little stuffy but near as bad as what he did. Keep up the good work bud your doing so good and mom and dad are so proud of you we love you.

Ok so I haven't updated for a few days and a lot has kind of happened with little Ryder. Lets just say Friday and Saturday nights were not his best nights. Poor little guy has had the stuffiest nose and they couldn't ever get any boogers out so he was having the hardest time breathing it was so sad and scary. Saturday night he weighed 5lbs 2oz yay bud he gained a pound that's awesome. Also on Friday and Saturday he had some visitors Aunt Jodene,Aunt Bridget Aunt Misty and Grandma Johnson came and saw him. Grandma Johnson got to hold him for the first time she was so excited. We decided to just let the grandmas and grandpas hold him right now. Mom it's our and Mileys turn this weekend :) His cousin Taylor got to come and see him on Saturday and she was just so amazed by how little he is and he's a pound bigger then when he was born lol but she was so cute. Sunday when we got to the hospital he had this weird round box over his head. But it's a good thing lol they call it a head box and it's like a humidifier. They are trying to get him less congested and what we noticed it has already seemed to help. He doesn't have the stupid nose oxygen in so it's nice they are hoping it will clear his nose and that he can wing himself off of oxygen. The downside to the box is we can't hold him whenever we want now because we really need to get him cleared up. So I guess it's not too bad because I really do want my little boy to get better. But last night after I fed him Clayt got to hold him and he was breathing so good without oxygen and his nose sounded so good so we are loving the box it is working great for him :) They are also going to start feeding him with bottles yay we need to get that darn feeding tube out of his poor nose. Ok so I will come in and breast feed once a shift and then they will breast feed him once a shift so it will get him working on the suck swallow and breath and then he can come home yay maybe just a couple of weeks or so we can't wait for that day. When we weighed Ryder last night he was 5lbs 3oz he's growing like a weed lol he is 3 weeks old today so crazy. Clayt says he's getting chubby lol he has a double chin and he says he's working on his third lol you can tell in his face that he has put on weight so he looks really good. We are so proud of you little Ryder your such an amazing little boy keep fighting.

Ryder is such an amazing little boy I can't believe how good he's doing. Last night when we weighed him he was around 4lbs 13oz that's crazy I can't believe my tiny boy is already almost 5 lbs that's awesome. I also tried breast feeding today and he do so good he almost ate off of me for 10 minutes and they say that is a full feeding for him so he almost got all his food today from me isn't that so good for him?! I just can't believe how well he is doing and how fast he is doing everything. keep up the good work bud your doing awesome.

Wow Ryder is gaining weight like crazy if I'm getting my days right lol I believe he is now in between 4lbs 9 oz and 4lbs 10oz my days are all running together so I keep getting confused if he's not that then he's an oz smaller lol but still that is so good he's growing so fast it's crazy. We are still trying the whole breast feeding thing and he's kind of getting a hang of it slowly. But they are surprised he's doing as good has he is for how young he is. He really is only 34 weeks today he should still be growing in my tummy for a few more weeks :) but nope instead he thought he had to come out early and grow here lol but it's ok cause he's doing awesome and proving he could come here early :)

Kids say the funniest things

Ok so I had to post this before I forgot because I thought it was so cute. So all my nieces and nephews that can't go in and see Ryder because they are too young are so confused on why they can't see him. They don't let anyone under 12 in there :( anyways my little niece Jordynn (5) was talking to me and she's like Kyndra why can't we go see the baby I want to see him so I said he's too little so they won't let anyone in there well why is he so little I reply because he was born too early she says in the cutest little voice oh man if only he was born in the afternoon. HAHA she is so confused but is that not the cutest thing?! ha well just though that I would share that because I thought it was so cute and funny.

Growing so fast

Ryder is 2 weeks old as of yesterday wow it's gone by so fast. He's growing so fast it's crazy. I can't believe he's already 2 weeks and I haven't even got to bring him home yet. Well last night he gained 50 grams so now he is 4lbs 8oz that's awesome good job buddy your doing awesome. He started out at 4 lbs 3 oz and 17 inches long and now he's 4 lbs 8oz 18 inches long and I'm sure he'll gain more when we weigh him tonight. We also tried breast feeding yesterday again and he latched on and sucked for about 5 minutes at his 8 feeding last night that's so good for him they were all impressed. He's doing so much better then they are all expecting him to be. :) He's such an awesome boy.

Clayt called me this morning and we got the condo :) yay I'm so excited. Not sure when we get to move in not until after we close and who knows when that will be and then we are going to paint and put new carpet in it. I'll keep you updated on that as well even though I'm sure it's not as exciting as Ryder updates but oh well ;) lol
