Boys pictures

A few weeks ago I had a friend take us out to take the boys pictures. Clayt wouldn't let us get family pictures this year so it was just the boys and I. I wasn't planning on being in any but I got a few with tehm anyway.

Temple Square

Last week the boys and I ventured out to Temple Square with my parent and nieces. We rode the trax and of course the kids loved it. Range wouldn't sit still though and just wanted to walk around. As soon as we walked in the gates someone started talking while my mom and I were talking to each other and I finally realized that that person was talking to us. A boy had lost his family and he was asking for help. He was actually an older kid but he was a little slow. He was funny and super chatty. After a few phone calls to find out where his parents were, and walking through the crowds we finally found his parents. That took us about 15-20 minutes. I'm glad we were able to help him though. We went through everything pretty fast and I felt like they didn't have as many lights as they usually do. It was a nice night to go, it wasn't super crowded and the weather was perfect.

Ryder had his school pictures taken a few months ago and we just got them today. They turned out cute. Love this crazy 5 year old of mine.

Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving this year was actually pretty low key. It was spent with the Johnson family at Grandma Cleas and to my surprise it wasn't chaotic like I thought it would be. with everyone being there. Since the weather was so nice the kids spent most of their time outside playing football and running around. After lunch the girls decided to go to Cortez and do a little Black Friday shopping at Walmart. It was a fun quick trip over and I pretty much got everything I need for the boys. Friday I spent the day with my mom, Misty and Stormy. We did a lot of chatting and little work on the photo books we were supposed to be working on. ;) Saturday I had a craft day with Clayts sisters my mom and Misty. I made some wreaths and they decided they wanted to make some so I taught them how and we made wreath after wreath and lots of other crafts. Clayton went rabbit hunting, spotlighting and looking for deer all weekend while I crafted with the girls. It was a fun chill weekend. I'm thankful for all of our wonderful many blessings we have in our life. I'm thankful for my little family and the joy and happiness that they bring into our home. I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving.
