Little Ryder

Ryder is growing so fast it's crazy. He is 2 weeks today super crazy it has gone by so fast. Last night when we went to see him he weighed in between 4 lbs 5 oz and 4lbs 6oz so crazy he is past his birth weight that's awesome buddy good job he also is 18 inches long wow he grew an inch I can't believe how much he has already grown he is gaining his weight back so good. I also tried breast feeding last night and it was one of his better nights he did so good we were all amazed he actually got some milk out lol they say he is doing what a 34 35 week baby should be doing and he is only 33 weeks good job bud mom and dad are so proud of you. He's such a strong little boy.

Yesterday was also mine and Clayt's one year anniversary. Saturday night we headed off to Park City for the rest of the weekend. We went and ate dinner and stayed at this awesome motel lol our room was huge. It had a kitchen in it and a huge bathroom with a big jetted tub and everything lol and there was a hot tub on the deck it was way nice. Also Clayt surprised me before we left Saturday with little diamond earrings :) what a sweet heart he can be romantic ;). Sunday we went to the Alpine slides and rode the coaster one time it was so much fun we were laughing so hard the whole way down it was funny. After that we went to the outlets and did some shopping. When we were done there we decided to head home and go see our little Ryder. Thanks for such a fun weekend babe and for a great first year couldn't ask for anyone better I love you.

Quick Update

Ryder is still doing awesome. He gained weight last night and his back up to his birth weight :) he is right in between 4lbs 3oz and 4lbs 4oz that's so awesome good job buddy we're so proud of you. I am able to start breast feeding now twice a day :) he's not quite sure about it but we're working on it.
We are going to head over to Midway or someplace that way in awhile for our anniversary so I will post the cute pictures we took of Ryder today whenever I get back. Sorry such a short post with no pictures but not much as changed.

Gained Weight

I forgot to put in the last post that he also gained weight last night he is now about 4 lbs 2 oz :) almost to his birth weight we think he will prob pass it tonight yay for Ryder he's getting chubby haha jk not really ;)

No more isolette

Dad is always watching his monitoring cause it goes up and down and he get's really nervous. The nurse told him he can't get nervous because whatever he does the baby does so I have to try to calm him but doesn't always happen.

Ryder upgraded to a open bed yesterday yay for him :) lol now we get to hold him whenever we want for as long as we want as long as he's having a good day and tolerating it. I didn't get to try and breast feed yesterday :( I guess he's not quite ready so maybe next week we'll see. By next week he would of been 34 weeks if he was still in the womb so he should know how to suck breath and swallow better by then so hopefully he can do it next week sometime. Well other then him being the sweet cute little boy he is he's doing awesome still getting a little help with the oxygen but they say maybe 2 more days left of that is all. Good job buddy we're so proud of you keep up the good work we love you.

Yesterday was a good day for Ryder. His oxygen got to go down so pretty much all it is is a little bit of air going into his nose because he is still breathing the air we breath. He got to wear his first clothes yesterday :) yay that's so exciting he looks so cute and more like a baby now lol also hopefully when I go there today he will be in a open crib yay and I get to start to try and breast feed. I hope he does good when we try that. He gained weight last night he is 1830 so a little over 4 pounds now he made it back into the 4's finally so almost where he first started. He's doing so good we are so proud of him and couldn't be any happier. Enjoy the pics of our cute little boy wearing his first outfit :) (hospitals outfit lol)
