24th of July

This year we celebrated Pioneer day in Monticello/Blanding. Clayt played in the fast pitch softball tournament with the Northern Electric team. We got there Thursday afternoon and had dinner and hung out with Claytons family. Friday we were pretty lazy went shopping hung out and took naps until it was time to head over to Monticello for Clayts first game. They lost their first game by 1 run with a walk off home run. They played shortly after and won that game. We got home around 11 and got up early Saturday so we could be back over there for a game at 8am. They ended up losing that one and were supposed to play at 11 but had a bye and ended up not playing until 5pm. They had a lot of errors and weren't hitting very good so they lost that and were out of the tournament. We hung out and watched a few more games until fireworks started. The boys enjoyed the fireworks Cello put on a good show this year. We got home pretty late and talked for awhile with Clayts mom then finally went to bed. It was a fun busy long weekend as always but it's always nice to be back home. Ryder and Range went to Blanding the week before and spent time with the grandparents without mom and dad. You could tell Range was ready to be home but he did really well in Blanding.

Ryder wanted his food in the back of the truck
Range got into everything possible at the games. Food, dirt, mud, tar you name it.

These guys were pretty cool. Not sure what they're called lol

He found the gloves and hat in the stroller and wanted them on.

Wearing dads helmet and driving his truck.

18 and 19

Range is growing up so fast can't believe he's just a few months away from turning 2. This little boy is quite the character. He's got many many personalities. He's still a big beast and throws many tantrums. He doesn't sleep through the night every night anymore not sure why. He no longer sleeps with his sippy just a binky and his blanket. He loves his brother and wants to do everything he does, he has a hard day when he's not there to play with him. He is down to one nap a day most days. He love Lilly and is always getting kisses from her lol. He loves to give hugs and kisses to everyone. Don't let his sweetness fool you though he can turn from happy to pissed off real quick. ha He still pretty much eats anything we give him. He is always snacking you hardly find him without some kind of snack in his hands. He is a pepsi aholohic, and everyone thinks it's the funniest thing ever. Don't leave your drinks in Range's reach or he will steal it. He would be outside 24/7 if I would let him. He HATES his car seat and is the worst traveler when he's not sleeping. He's mostly in 18 month clothes and size 4 diapers. He loves keys, balls and bats the most. He turns everything he can hold into a bat example he was eating trail mix the other day and held it like a bat yelling ball ball. He can point to his eyes and everyone else eyes, sometimes can point to his nose and mouth, he'll point to his hair.

A few of Ranges most said words:

*Puppy (Every animal is puppy to him)

*mama

*Warer (water)

*Ryer (Ryder)

*He still won't say dad

*More

*Please

*Mine mine

*Baby (He calls himself baby)

*He has yet to learn the word NO

*ball

*Keys

*food

*eyes

*hair

*Cycle

*Papa

Hobbler Half

Saturday I ran my first half marathon. It was the Hobbler half down Hobble Creek Canyon in Springville. My neighbors knocked on my door 5 weeks ago and asked if I wanted to run it with them I said yes and we started training. I think there were weeks I only ran once or twice, the most I ran the whole training was 6 miles (that's the most I've ran my whole life too haha ) I was nervous for Saturday to come thinking I wasn't really ready for it. It was freezing up at the top and we waited for an hour before the race started. Once we got going I warmed up and then the sun finally came out and it was hot for Half the race haha. I can say I ran the whole time except for when I stopped to pee at the half way mark  and I walked when I took a drink I tried running and drinking and it wasn't happening lol  I stopped twice for a few seconds to stretch my calves other then that I ran the whole thing. I was told it would be an all down hill race and it ended up being up and down the whole way. Mile 12 was the biggest down hill and it KICKED my butt. I felt all the pain in my knees the most and my groin. (I'm so glad it wasn't mostly down hill) As I turned the corner at 13 Misty met me and started running with me to push me more I was limping as I was running and she kept telling me "it's just around the corner push it if you can" I started going as fast as I could to get to the finish line. As I came to the finish I could hear my niece cheering for me and my other little cheering squad :) I passed the finish line 2:15 after I started. I was sweaty hurting with pain but was so happy with what I had accomplished that day. I never thought I would run a half marathon I've always hated running. My friends came in shortly after me, we had breakfast at the park and a little massage they were doing there. It was exhausting but fun. I think I will run some more sometime. The one thing I learned from this is I will train more for the next one 5 weeks is not enough ;) Thanks for inviting me girls. You guys did AWESOME!!!
 Race Swag
I did it.. 2 hours and 15 minutes
Ran to meet Abby and help push her across the finish line.. Didn't get one with Camie we cheered her on until the finish line.
Camie, Abby and I.. So glad I have these girls, such fun friends and neighbors!!

Hang Time

Last Thursday I took Ryder, my nephew Trez and Niece Mikaila to Hang Time. We met my sister Misty and nephew Jeter there. We had a blast. For an hour straight I played dodge ball it was so fun. Ryder had fun jumping into the foam pits with the cousins when they weren't playing dodge ball. Its definitely  a place to go to wear yourself or kids out lol.

Dinner at I-Hop.. Ryder was being a brat and Jeter was creeping lol

Herriman Reservoir

Last Tuesday we went to the Herriman Reservoir with friends. The water was cold but it was a hot day so you warmed up to it quick. The boys had fun running back and forth between the park and water. It's a fun place and its FREE so even better haha.. Thanks for the invite Abby and Cami can't wait to go again.
