Zoo

Yesterday (Wednesday) I decided I wanted to take the boys to the Zoo. It's been so nice this week and we need to be outside lol. I text a friend to see if she wanted to go and of course they did so loaded up kids went and got snacks and headed to the Zoo. This was Range's first time since he was about 4 months old and he was in heaven. He got sick of being in the stroller and wanted to run around. We stopped and played one the playground and rocks for awhile and he loved it. Ryder loved going down the big slide he kept asking to go back. Range also love the seals since you can see under the water he thought it was cool every time they swam towards us. Ryder wasn't too into the animals he liked climbing on everything and just running around. He's a busy busy boy.

Hiking

Monday was the first day we've had good weather for awhile and I've been wanting to go hiking for awhile now, so I packed up the boys in the stroller and we went for a hike by our house. Lets say I'm out of shape and carrying a 15 month old doesn't make it very easy haha we tried to find some sheds while we were out but didn't see any haha maybe next time we can go without Range or I need to get me a hiking backpack.

 We found a tree house as we were walking down the hill.

 After our hike we had to play outside some more.. This boy loves the dirt.

21

Sunday April 6th marked the 21 year anniversary of my dads death. I can't believe it has been 21 years already. Not a day goes by that I don't think of my dad. I can't wait until the day I get to make my own memories with him and my boys get to make fun grandpa memories too. I'm so thankful for Eternal Families and the knowledge I have knowing that I will get to see my dad and live with him again some day.

Girls night

Over Conference weekend I went and stayed with Kara since Clayt is gone and she's moving soon. We decided last minute we wanted to go out for a little bit so we told Eric he was watching the boys and we left lol.. We decided we wanted a massage so we went and got a couples massage haha I got the hot stone massage and it was heaven. I really enjoyed it. After that we went and got a yummy shake from iceberg and headed back home to our boys. Glad we got to go out for a few hours. Thanks for watching the boys Eric.

Funny boys

Range want to be just like his brother and do everything he does, but Ryder likes to do a lot if things that Range does too. Is it always a competition with boys?! haha I sure do love these two they keep me on my toes.

Training #5

Clayt left for training Monday his 5th out of 6. We're getting so close to being done. We can't wait!! We had my niece and her friend come watch the boys Friday night so that we could go out on a date. We went to Longhorn steakhouse so yummy we left stuffed haha.. Saturday we hung out at home played outside and hung out with neighbors. Since his flight left so early Monday morning we decided to get a motel by the airport Sunday night. We went to dinner at a diner by the motel, got as close to the runway as we could so Ryder could see the airplanes land and then we went swimming. The boys had a blast. This was the first motel Range had stayed in since he was a couple months old. We were really nervous how well he would do since we were all right by him in the room. He started getting mad around 9 so I stuck him in his bed with all his stuff and he just laid there and talked for awhile so I turned the tv since we were just playing on our phones, he fell asleep probably 15-20 minutes after and didn't wake up until after 8. He didn't if wake up when the wakeup call rang in at 3:45 am and with Clayts alarm he must have been pretty tired. Ryder was so confused about staying at the motel he thought we were going to school work with dad. Thanks for the fun weekend babe see you in 4 weeks.

 He thought it was funny to make his water spill out all over the chairs at church.

 Ryder was so excited to stay in a motel and had to pack his own bag. Toys for him and Range clothes and his swimming suit. He did pretty good.

 Range was a little nervous at first but it didn't take him long to warm up. He was jumping in in no time. We hung out in the hot tub since it was like a warm bath.
