Visits from the nephews, Bees game and more

Monday and Tuesday Misty came up here for some work stuff and I watched Jeter for her so she didn't have to worry about him. We swam and shot his new bow ate pizza and had fun. Wednesday my parents brought Trez up here and brought Ryder back home. Ryder was in Blanding from last Friday until Wednesday spending time with grandmas and grandpa and all his cousins. Thanks everyone who helped with him :) Well Trez stayed Wed. and Thurs. night and went home Friday with Cole. Wed. when Trez got here we went swimming and went shopping at Wal Mart so he could get him something with his money. There was a big thunder and lightning storm that night so he came in and slept on my bedroom floor it was cute. Thursday I took him to Cabelas and school shopping at other places. We came home went swimming and then I took him and Ryder to their first Bees game. Trez was pretty pumped it was cute he would get mad at me every time I tried to take his picture though lol the Bees ended up losing but we still had fun. Thanks for coming and staying with me Trez and Jeter love you guys.

So I bought these new plug covers for all my outlets and I'm sitting on my couch and hear Ryder playing in the hallway so I decided to check on him and I find him playing with the plug cover he figured out how to take it out so much for the child proof little turd.

Lake Powell

WOW what an exciting, memorable crazy trip to Powell we had. So last weekend we headed down to Lake Powell with Cole and Jackie. We got there around 6:30 Friday night unloaded ALL our crap into the boat and I mean crap we had so much it was ridiculous lol so we unloaded the boat and Cole went and parked the truck and trailer. While we were waiting for him to come back we were just kinda flaoting around and Jackie says "there is water on my feet" so we kinda start freaking out Cole finally made it to us and we tell him about the water lol more water keeps coming in and Cole tells Clayt to go to shore but does Clayt listen NO lol more water keeps coming in so I yell at him to go to shore ha so he finally goes the boat dies right when we get there and wont start and more water has come into the boat. So we jump out and start taking our stuff out of the boat. Some guys come over and ask if we need help so we said yes they are drinking are guys are ticked and Jackie and I are just laughing. So water is halfway to the seats in the back of the boat the engine is covered the back of the boat is almost under water they guys got buckets and started throwing out the water. They finally got enough out and got the boat where it was floating again (Cole had gone to get the truck during all this) and not just stuck to the sand and pushed it up on the trailer pulled it out and water just drained from the bottom of the boat. So Cole calls the lady we rented it from to tell her and ask her what to do she starts laughing and says "oh yeah I forgot to put the bottom plug in" HAHAHA Coles laughing so we figured it was a good sign ha so she told us how to put the plug in so that's what we did. By this time is was already dark so we decided just to camp right there off shore. The guys still wanted dutch ovens and steaks so we set up and Clayt started cooking. All of a sudden this huge wind storm comes and dust is everywhere so we get in the truck and when the food was done Clayt and Cole brought us girls our food. We had to eat dinner in the truck haha when we got done we ran to our tents for bed. Not long after being in our tents it started pouring and we just layed there laughing.
Saturday we got up early and got breakfast ready and packed up camp and loaded the boat AGAIN to head to where we really wanted to camp. When we got loaded we headed out on the lake again. We cruised around and found a spot we thought would be a good place to camp. So we unloaded everything there and then went on the lake to play. We wake boarded Skied (sp) knee boarded and tubed. Ok they all did I only tubed and knee boarded for a minute lol I'm a chicken I just like tubes :) So we were out there all day having fun went to the Marina and got yummy ice cream hung out on the boat and in the water. It was a good day compared to the day before lol When it started getting dark we headed back to camp and set it all up then started dinner. It was a calm nice evening. After we at the guys went fishing for awhile but didn't catch anything lol when they got back we ate cobbler popcorn and went to bed.
It didn't rain on us until early Sunday morning but just for awhile. We got up had some breakfast and was thinking about going on the boat again but saw a big storm coming so we got in our tents and it rained for at least 3 hours so we slept and hung out in our tents for 3 hours lol when it finally stopped we decided to try out boating one more time before leaving. So we go to start it and the battery is dead (just our luck) luckily there is people camping across the lake with houseboats and other nice boats so Cole walks over there and asks them if they have cables and a jumper so they come over and jump the boat and it starts but it wouldn't charge. We left it running and headed back out. The battery still wasn't charging and water was coming in the boat again. So we went back to camp Jackie and i cleaned up camp and got everything ready while they figured things out. They went back to those other guys camp and asked for help Jackie and I look over there and they are squirting water out with super soakers HAHA then they leave and go for a test run and yell to them "it's running better thanks" so they pick us up and said "we're going wake boarding" So we went one last time and they all had fun skiing and wake boarding. They all had a couple of hard crashes and were so sore from the day before and said they were done so we went to camp loaded everything and went back to shore and loaded the boat and headed back home. It was a fun trip and definitely one we won't forget. Can't wait to do it every year but with Tyler and Lacey next time :) thanks for a fun weekend Cole and Jackie.

One year stats

Ryder had his one year check up yesterday and he's getting so big. He's big to us anyways I know there is a lot of babies younger then him or around his age that are a lot bigger but they didn't start out as small as Ryder so good job on your chunky kids lol mine is chunky too :)

Length: 28"- 25% (His DR says he's sure he's in the 50% for this though lol)

Weight: 20lbs 12 oz - 50%

Has the cutest smile EVER and is such a happy good baby. Can't believe a year has come and gone. We love you Ryder Man.

ONE year ago

One year ago today at 5am dad and mom were panicking as they drove to the hospital while mom was having labor pains (9 weeks early). We got to the hospital and checked in and the nurse told us we were having this baby dad looked at her and said " It's too early" and"she said well there is nothing we can do to stop it". Moms DR came in about an hour later and told us what was going to happen mom was in so much pain but what she remembers most was her DR. saying that you had a 99% chance of living. (I'm crying typing this) that was the best thing she could hear at that time. Two hours after getting to the hospital she delivered a tiny 4 lb baby boy you cried when you came out and that was such a relief dad cut your cord and they took you away. They brought you back to me 2 hours later to say goodbye so they could take you to the NICU in Murray. Mom remembers your tiny little body with all the wire and oxygen on you as they wheeled you in on the stretcher so she could see you one last time before taking you away. It was the saddest but happiest day of our lives. We are so blessed and happy to have you in our lives Ryder. We love you so much happy 1st birthday.

24th of July and Ryders 1st b-day party

We went to Blanding for the 24th again this year so Clayt could play in the fast pitch softball tourney. They didn't do very well like always lol maybe one of these years ;) Since we were gonna be down there we decided to have Ryder's birthday party since everyone would be there but a few sisters. We did it Friday afternoon and had dutch oven potatoes and meat it was really yummy. Thank you Milan and Clayt for cooking our yummy food. After we ate we had cake and ice cream and Ryder went to town on his cake it was so funny watching him mostly pinch it and lick his hand every once in awhile so cute wish I had it on video. He got spoiled by everyone thanks for all the gifts and for just coming and hanging out. My mom sister and her husband any my grandpa were down from NM too so it was so fun to have them there and to see them doesn't happen very often. Can't wait until next year to see them at the Dennis Family Reunion. Sunday we had little Drakes blessing (Bridgets baby) and had a dinner after. He's such a cutie loved that baby I couldn't get enough of him lol lets just say I'm a little baby hungry ;) Thanks for a fun weekend everyone.
