4th of July

We packed up and headed down to Blanding again this year. This time we brought our friends with us to enjoy the excitement. We left Thursday night and came back Monday night. We played in midnight madness, went to the parade, the carnival, swimming at the pool, watched the fireworks in the pouring rain. They were supposed to have music play with them but since it was raining they weren't able to play the music, but the fireworks were still awesome. After fireworks we headed up to the mountain to camp the rest of the weekend. It was a muddy foggy mess all the way up and lets say I was freaking out the whole drive ha sliding everywhere and not being able to see whats in front of you is not my favorite thing. This was the first time we've been able to take the Jumping Jack out since we bought it last fall. Let's say it did not disappoint it was so nice to have and so easy to set up and put down. It rained a little bit Sunday mid morning after the rain I decided to take Mia and Range for a four wheeler ride. We went quite a ways and it started acting up and then just died. So we had to start walking back to camp. Thankfully it wasn't too hot but we had no water and I honestly didn't know how far away we really were. We walked and walked and finally made it back. I was in tears I felt bad for Range and Mia. They did awesome never complained once the whole walk, I did have to carry Range most of the way but it was fine. Clayt and I hopped in the truck to go pick it up. He lectured me for going so far with the two little kids and made me feel even more like crap. We got to the fourwheeler and jumped it and I followed him back but it died right before we got there and ended up having to tow it back. We ended up breaking down 2.5 miles away from camp and those kids did great, 4 and 2 years old. I told Clayt I hate Elk Ridge I don't want to camp there again. Last time we camped there as a family the Rhino broke down 6.5 miles from camp and we hiked 3 miles until someone picked us up and Ryder was 2. haha... It rained that evening and we played games in the trailer and then had a fire. I ended up going to bed while Clayt, Camie and Thom hung out at the fire. We got up Monday morning and loaded up and drove over the mountain on the way and stopped at Newspaper Rock before we hit the road for good. ;) It was a fun festive exhausting 4th of July. Thanks for coming to our home town Camie and Thom hope you guys enjoyed your visit.
Packed up and ready to go.. Not sure where the Rhino is going to fit when we need to take it. ha

 Mowing the lawn with Papa

Fun at midnight madness waiting for another game to start.

Cute kiddos. Izacc, Ian, Mia, Ryder and Range

Range crashed out before the fireworks started. He slept through them all and even with rain hitting his face.

The boys went on a hike and Range brought me back these flowers. He said " I got you these flowers mom" it was so dang cute.

 He photobombed my picture lol
Waiting out the rain in the trailer.

Right before the four wheeler broke down.

One of our stops along our hike back.
He crashed out as soon as we got in the truck. Long walk for a 2 year old.

The boys always love to drive when we're on the mountain.

 Taking shelter from the rain.

These two played so well with each other all weekend.

Between the rain and all the mud holes I think it was a fun trip home lol

haha I love this picture and this boy.

Trez took this picture at the fireworks. I think it turned out pretty cool.
