Clayton, Kyndra, Ryder & Range Johnson

24th July

This year for the 24th I stayed home and Clayt went to Blanding and played in the Mens Fastpitch tournament in Monticello. My mom came up and we hung out then on Saturday I went to lagoon with Kara, Eric and My Uncle Mike's family and mom watched Ryder and Kara's boys thanks mom. That was my first time there in 4 years and I had a blast I wish Clayt would take me sometime. Thanks for the fun weekend and for watching the kids mom :)

BBQ at Crystals

A few weeks ago we had a bbq at Crystal's new house and Kara and her family came out. We had Meat and dutch oven potatoes and brownies and ice cream. It was super yummy. The kids had a lot of fun playing outside with all the dirt and mud haha it's always fun to get together with everyone. Thanks for having us over Crys.

Since camping didn't go as planned I stayed in town the rest of the week and Clayt went out shed hunting. Wednesday I went to the pool with Misty and then we went to Karen's house and booked our cruise we are all going on in February wahoo so excited. Thursday I went to Stormy's for a few hours and then we had a bbq at Karens and then we had another ping pong tournament I lost out way early lol so I played 500 with the boys that got out too. Friday we just hung out in town and then went to dinner with Marcia and Bridget and Mario. Saturday we went to Foy Lake in Monticello went fishing rode fourwheelers and the motorcycle and then drove back to Blanding over the mountain we saw a lot of deer about 16 Elk and 1 baby bear :) Sunday we headed home. It was a fun and exhausting week but was nice to get home.

Camping on Elk Ridge

The first week in August we went to Blanding for the week just to get away and hang out. Our plan was to camp most of the time we were there but that ended short.. We got to Blanding Monday the first that evening and then headed out to Elk Mountain. We got there at dark so we set up camp hung out by the fire then went to bed. We got up the next morning and decided to go for a drive on the rhino It was acting funny but we just kept going. We stopped and hiked around some place looking for horns no luck so we got back on the Rhino and drove a ways and Calyt wanted to see what was wrong with the Rhino so why he was looking Ryder and I sat under a tree and ate some lunch. He figured it was the fuel pump again so we headed on our journey to Sweet Alice we get on the road and I think I had to pee lol so we stopped and the Rhino wouldn't start back up so Clayt tore it apart to see if he could get it running and he never did so our only option was to start walking. Oh and Ryder is mister Mocker these days and Clayt was ticked and said stupid piece of sh** so Ryder says stupid piece of sh** haha it was funny (sorry mom) I did punch Clayt and tell him to watch his mouth lol... Anyways we started our journey back to the truck oh yay Calyt knew from there to the barn thing it was about 4 miles so we knew we had at least that far to walk when we reached that the Wilderness Quest ppl were out setting stuff up for the night hike so we tried flagging them down and they didn't stop I was ticked so we kept walking and finally one of them stopped the 4th truck to pass punks!! So they told us one of their trucks was going up by our camp and he would give us a ride we kept walking until he ran into us AGAIN!! Jerk ha jk anyways he picked us up and took us back to camp. We picked up the truck and trailer and drove back down the mountain and picked up the Rhino we had to push it on the trailer and it was not EASY especially with a husband who never gets mad and was PISSED and getting mad at me haha anyways we decided to clock and see how many miles we walked. We walked a little over 5 miles when they picked us up we had 9.2 miles to go up hill from where they picked us up until our camp ha awesome Rhino breaks down 14 miles away from camp we have Ryder who would NOT let us carry him so he prob walked 2 1/2 of the 5 we walked little turd. When we finally got back to camp it was almost dark but Clayt wanted steak and dutch ovens so ge got everything out and ready then realized we forgot the spatula great I was SICK of this day by now but he insisted to have them so he mixed them up with a spoon haha when we were done eating we decided to head back to Balnding we both decided a bed would sound nice an hour from them so at 9;30pm we packed up camp and head back to Marcias. It was a very eventful day we spent most our day walking though bummer and I didn't go camping the rest the week Clayt went shed hunting Wed and Thursday Friday we hung out and went to dinner and Saturday we went to Foy Lake in Monticello and drove over the mountain.
