Idaho

Since Clayt is gone for work again I decided to pack up the boys and take a quick weekend trip to Idaho to see my sister and her family. She had her baby 2 months ago and we were all dying to meet her. It was a fun little get away and the boys loved baby Ava. They both always wanted to hold her if I was. We were leaving a store and we got in our car and Range started crying " Where's my baby where's baby Ava" ha he was so sad that she wasn't with us. Ryder kept asking me when I was going to have a baby. He really wants a baby sister. If only we were guaranteed. The day we left to come home Ryder asked if baby Ava was coming home with us. He was sad when we told him no. Thanks for having us Kara.

We played dress up with her and she was giving us attitude ;)

Snapped this picture just in time haha

 Fun at the park.

Not very good pictures... Touching the stingrays.

 Ethan and Ryder

Range was nervous of everything there for some reason, so when he finally decided to touch the water he was so excited "my touch it my touch it" it was so funny and cute.
Ryder was seriously in love with Ava. In there pictures he was just standing there with his finger out waiting for her to grab onto it. Kara finally put her hand on his and she grabbed his finer. he was so dang excited and was in heaven.

Pretty sunset our last night there.

We stopped in Twin Falls on our way home so the boys could run around and check out the view.

It was windy and cold so we didn't stay long.

A little kitchen makeover

When we bought our house I told Clayt I wanted to add a bar in our kitchen. It was so big and open and not very much counter space. We finally got serious about it about a month ago when we found a FREE cabinet off of KSL. We didn't want spend a lot of money on one so that's why we decided to make our own, but the counter top was still going to cost us around $200 and Clayt didn't seem like he wanted to spend that much. I kept my eye out on KSL and on the local Facebook YS page when I finally found one on the YS page with our exact measurements. I was pretty excited Clayt was in AZ at the time so I sent him a picture and he said get it. I got it for 40 bucks!! Freaking steal of a deal. ha When Clayt got back from AZ he worked on it all weekend for me to get it finished.

My kitchen before....
 After.

It turned out so good and it adds so much to our kitchen. The best part is we did it all for under $200.
