Last Thursday we headed down to Escalante Utah with my Aunt Barb for the Munson Reunion. When we got there Thursday the boys and I went to the park and got ice cream with Papa. Friday we hiked up to Calf Creek Falls. It was 3 miles one way. Ryder walked the whole 6 miles and Milan held Range the whole way. We left later in the morning and it was really hot. We thought it was only a mile and a half so we didn't have much water. (lesson learned) It was a fun hike but not very little kid friendly ;) Once we got up to the falls the boys had a blast playing in the water. By the time we got back from the hike it was time for family dinner and games. Saturday we had lots of food breakfast and lunch and whatever in between, balloon games and crafts for the kids. By the end of the day we were all exhausted. I left a little early and went to my Aunt and Uncles house to give Range a nap. He slept for about 3 hours and slept through screaming kids and talking adults lol That evening I went on another hike with my cousins to Calf Creek again but to the upper falls. It was a shorts hike but it was straight down and then straight back up going back. It kicked my butt haha Sunday we took the trek back home. It took longer then normal with a few stops but it was so good to be home.
