One year stats

Ryder had his one year check up yesterday and he's getting so big. He's big to us anyways I know there is a lot of babies younger then him or around his age that are a lot bigger but they didn't start out as small as Ryder so good job on your chunky kids lol mine is chunky too :)

Length: 28"- 25% (His DR says he's sure he's in the 50% for this though lol)

Weight: 20lbs 12 oz - 50%

Head Circ. : 45.9cm - 50%

Things Ryder is doing and likes/dislikes at 12 months

*Really good sleeper lately (sleeps until 10am or noon goes to bed around 9:30pm :)

*Likes baths again yay :)

*Stink bug crawls and is super fast

*Walks along things and with his push toys

*Loves his trucks

*Says mama and dada

*Doesn't like to eat real food just snacks

*LOVES beef jerky

*LOVES his bottle :( lol

*LOVES his blankey

*Has 2 top teeth and 2 bottom teeth

*Loves to clap his hands

*Likes peek a boo and paddy cake

*Likes playing tug a war with his puppy

Has the cutest smile EVER and is such a happy good baby. Can't believe a year has come and gone. We love you Ryder Man.

ONE year ago

One year ago today at 5am dad and mom were panicking as they drove to the hospital while mom was having labor pains (9 weeks early). We got to the hospital and checked in and the nurse told us we were having this baby dad looked at her and said " It's too early" and"she said well there is nothing we can do to stop it". Moms DR came in about an hour later and told us what was going to happen mom was in so much pain but what she remembers most was her DR. saying that you had a 99% chance of living. (I'm crying typing this) that was the best thing she could hear at that time. Two hours after getting to the hospital she delivered a tiny 4 lb baby boy you cried when you came out and that was such a relief dad cut your cord and they took you away. They brought you back to me 2 hours later to say goodbye so they could take you to the NICU in Murray. Mom remembers your tiny little body with all the wire and oxygen on you as they wheeled you in on the stretcher so she could see you one last time before taking you away. It was the saddest but happiest day of our lives. We are so blessed and happy to have you in our lives Ryder. We love you so much happy 1st birthday.

24th of July and Ryders 1st b-day party

We went to Blanding for the 24th again this year so Clayt could play in the fast pitch softball tourney. They didn't do very well like always lol maybe one of these years ;) Since we were gonna be down there we decided to have Ryder's birthday party since everyone would be there but a few sisters. We did it Friday afternoon and had dutch oven potatoes and meat it was really yummy. Thank you Milan and Clayt for cooking our yummy food. After we ate we had cake and ice cream and Ryder went to town on his cake it was so funny watching him mostly pinch it and lick his hand every once in awhile so cute wish I had it on video. He got spoiled by everyone thanks for all the gifts and for just coming and hanging out. My mom sister and her husband any my grandpa were down from NM too so it was so fun to have them there and to see them doesn't happen very often. Can't wait until next year to see them at the Dennis Family Reunion. Sunday we had little Drakes blessing (Bridgets baby) and had a dinner after. He's such a cutie loved that baby I couldn't get enough of him lol lets just say I'm a little baby hungry ;) Thanks for a fun weekend everyone.

Saturday we went and got our fam pics and Ryder's one year pics taken. It was a hot day but Ryder did so good he was so cute the whole time she got some good smiles out of him. Here are just a few of my favs.

Bridal Vail Falls

Yesterday we decided to go up to Bridal Vail Falls for a little while this was my first time it was really pretty but really really busy. We headed up there after Ryder finally woke up at noon for the first time since he went to bed the night before lol after we left there we decided to just keep driving so we drove through Heber and then went to Park City. Stopped in Park City ate dinner drove around a little bit then headed home. On our way home we decided to stop at Toys R Us since we were close to it and get Ryder's birthday presents. It was a fun enjoyable afternoon with my little family. I love the weekends so that we can spend them as a family.

Week/Weekend with my fam

This last week my mom and my Aunt R (moms sister) from New Mexico came up here and visited us for the week. It was a lot of fun. We don't get to see my Aunt very often so when we do it's always fun. Trez also had state baseball during the week but they lost out Wed. evening. So we had a week filled with baseball and shopping and lots of shopping lol Saturday we went to a play at Hale Theater and saw The Wedding Singer it was really funny we had a lot of fun. It was Crystal my mom aunt and I that were able to go after the play we met up with Kara and went to dinner and did a little bit of more shopping :) ha Thanks for a fun week and weekend wish we could all get together more often.
